Privacy policy
This is a small practice, and this is a small website. It sets no cookies, it has no accounts to log in to, and it stores nothing about you. What you send through a form is emailed to Shannon and then lives in her mailbox, the same as if you had written to her directly.
The rest of this page is the detail behind that, in plain language.
What the website collects on its own
Nothing that identifies you. There are no cookies, no advertising trackers, no social media pixels, and no login.
The site does measure how many people visit, using Cloudflare Web Analytics. That service was chosen specifically because it sets no cookies and does not follow anyone between websites: it records the page visited, the country, the type of browser and device, the page that linked here, and how quickly pages loaded. It cannot tell Shannon who you are, and it cannot recognise you on your next visit.
What you send us, and when
Everything else on this site is something you chose to type in. There are three forms, and each one does the same thing: it sends Shannon an email.
Consultation request
Your name, email address, who the care is for, who referred you, and your message.
Restoration Notes
Your email address only, so Shannon can write to you occasionally.
Waitlist
Your name, email address, and which start date interests you.
Health information
This website does not collect any. There is no online health form, and there is no way to send Shannon your medical history through this site even if you wanted to.
The Intake & Health History form and the Consent for Treatment & Liability Waiver are documents you print, fill in by hand, and bring to your first appointment. Shannon keeps those records on paper. Your medications, injuries, surgeries, conditions and signature never travel over the internet, are never held by any company involved in running this website, and are never in an email.
This is deliberate. An earlier version of this site did accept that information through an online form; Shannon chose to remove it.
Where it actually goes
The website itself has no database. It cannot: there is nowhere for your information to be kept, and nobody has an administrator login to browse past submissions, because there is nothing to browse. When you press send, the contents become an email and the website forgets them.
Four companies are involved in running the site. This is the complete list, and what each of them can see:
Cloudflare hosts the website and delivers its email, so everything you send passes through it.
Brevo turns your form submission into the email Shannon receives, and sees the contents of that email.
Cal.com runs the booking calendar, and sees your name, email address, phone number and appointment times.
Stripe handles payment for the program, and sees your card or bank details. Shannon never does, and neither does this website.
Each of those companies has its own privacy policy governing what it does with what passes through it.
Who else sees it
Nobody. Your information is not sold, not rented, not shared with advertisers, and not handed to anyone for any purpose of their own. The only circumstances in which Shannon would disclose it are the ones the law does not leave to her discretion — a court order, or a genuine and immediate risk to someone’s safety.
Nothing you write is published anywhere. The stories on this site are shared with the permission of the people who wrote them.
How long it is kept
Your paper intake form and treatment notes are kept as part of your client record, for as long as Shannon is required to keep records of care. They are held physically, not on any computer system. Everything else — a consultation request, a waitlist entry — is kept only as long as it is useful, and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
What you can ask for
You can ask what Shannon holds about you, ask for a copy of it, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. You can stop receiving Restoration Notes whenever you like, by replying and saying so. None of this requires a reason, and asking will never affect your care.
Write to shannon@rememberinggodsdesign.com and she will answer personally.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and the forms are not intended to be filled in by them. Where Shannon works with a young person, that is arranged directly with a parent or guardian.
